Send Money from South Africa to Nigeria the Easy Way with Mama Money

The Central Bank of Nigeria has introduced new measures for remittances. Funds sent from outside of Nigeria will no longer be received as Naira and must be sent in US Dollars for cash collection at all major banks.

Follow these easy steps & send today:

1. Login/Register to create an order in the Mama Money App, select or add your recipient.
2. Select the payout method, either cash out or bank transfer followed by the preferred bank.
3. You and your recipient will receive a confirmation SMS with a cash pick-up code or the money will be automatically credited to their domiciliary account.
4. When collecting the cash your recipient will need to provide the cash pick-up code and their Bank Verification Number (BVN).
5. The minimum transaction amount is 10 USD and transfers will have to be in increments of 10 e.g. $210, $360, $420.
6. Your recipients will have to go to a bank branch to collect the cash.
