Mama Money’s incredible growth across Africa and Asia has inspired our fresh new look to represent all the different people, cultures and communities that Mama serves with plans to become a global player in the near future.

“From where we started to where we are now, Mama’s team has been blown away by the connections we’ve made with so many foreign nationals living in South Africa who support their loved ones back home. This is what inspired us to give Mama a makeover,” said co-founder Mathieu Coquillon.

From the beginning, Mama’s purpose has been to make the lives of hard-working foreign nationals that much easier when sending money home to their families. We created a simple money transfer solution that has grown into something much bigger.

Our journey started in September 2015 with our first successful cross-border money transfer. Today, Mama Money is live in almost 20 countries with many more on the way.
