Mama Money Ranks Top 3 for Best Financial Solution Apps in South Africa
There were over 600 applications for the MTN App of the Year Awards but only six winners could be announced. A daunting task for any judging panel!

The competition was tight for the Best Financial Solution category with Mama Money being the only money transfer service in the running against two insurance applications — Pineapple and Naked Insurance, with the latter winning the main prize of App of the Year.
“It’s a major honour for Mama Money to be nominated and participate in these prestigious awards that drive us to keep innovating. Our primary focus will always be on the social impact we make as a business, and how we can improve the lives of hard-working foreign nationals to send more money home to their loved ones,” said Mathieu Coquillon, co-founder of Mama Money.
