Mama Money Proud Sponsor of Uganda’s Record-Breaking World Cancer Run
Thousands of Ugandans across the world came together this past Sunday for an amazing cause. To raise money for the construction of a cancer specialist ward at Nsambya Hospital located in Uganda’s capital of Kampala.
It was a record-breaking event with over R3 million raised to help build the facility, and Mama Money is incredibly proud to have been able to support the Ugandan High Commission in South Africa to drive this event internationally.
There is still a lot more to be done as Ugandan officials claim that $5 million is needed to complete the specialist ward which will help treat all types of cancers for Ugandans in the country so that they won’t need to travel abroad to seek treatment which is far more expensive.
From what we are seeing online, it was an incredibly joyous event, and Mama is always proud to be able to support initiatives that benefit the lives of others.
