Mama Money Has Reduced Fees for Sending to Nigeria
Thousands of Nigerians in South Africa already trust Mama Money to send money home to their loved ones with great rates and a fast, secure service.
To further support Nigerians in South Africa, Mama Money has reduced fees to just 5% when sending up to R1790. If you send R50,000 then the fee is only 0.7%. With Mama Money, the more you send, the more you save on lower fees.
“At Mama Money, the needs of our customers come first. Previously when sending to Nigeria it was a flat fee of R89 for amounts up to R5000. Our customers needed a lower fee for sending smaller amounts. We heard this and adjusted the fee to 5% when sending up to R1790 meaning a transaction of R300 will now cost you just R15,” said Mathieu Coquillon, co-founder of Mama Money.
Now more than ever every cent counts. Nigeria is one of the countries on the continent with the highest COVID-19 infection rate. Nigerians at home are relying on financial assistance from their loved ones abroad. This change was made with the aim of supporting customers during this difficult time by enabling them to send smaller amounts of money home for a lower fee.
‘Customer and Community’ is one Mama Money’s core values and it is of paramount importance that products and services being offered are making a real difference in the lives of Mama’s customers and their loved ones.
