How to pay for your Mama Money order

Mama Money has partnered up with multiple retailers all over South Africa to make sending money home convenient for you. You have the option to pay cash in-store or use EFT.

Here’s how you go about each method:

The cash payment method you will receive a reference number via SMS

• Please take the reference number with you and make the cash payment at any of these stores:

Pick n Pay, Boxer, Shoprite, Checkers, Spar, Makro, Game, Top It Up, Ackermans, Builders, Cambridge Food, Rhino, Jumbo Wholesale, Selpal or Flash stores.

The bank transfer method

• On the App, you will find a list of Mama Money bank accounts to choose from, select your preferred bank.
• Pay the exact amount that you have indicated on your order using your online banking service.
• Please make sure to use your cellphone number as the reference number when completing the payment.
